::: GROUND CONTROL TO MAJOR TOM :::

One of our close friends has two of the sweetest well behaved children ever! I am just getting around to posting the oldest, 2 year old Vince's Birthday Party Invitation from last year while starting to plan for this years bigger & better Willy Wonka invitation LOL

The invitations included a large 3D poster, 3D glasses, a real :o) rocket, pop rocks and silver

'space junk' all in a black mailing tube. Each addressed to the receiving Commander and in the place of 'Kindly deliver:' we had 'Postal Delivery Unit, Please deliver to third rock from sun:' on the labels (the girls at our post office got a giggle out of it).

Can you tell we had a little to much fun making these :o)

::: GRANDPA'S 80th BIRTHDAY LUAU CELEBRATION :::

Recently we celebrated my Grandpa's 80th birthday with family & friends. It was a gorgeous evening, highlighted with laughter, great!!! food & beautiful music.

For the weeks before the celebration, I was wondering what we had gotten ourselves into, feeding 50+ people, creating 600 tissue paper flowers, making sure everything, down to the water came from the islands, until I received this!

Pictures from our photographer, Krista Lund! It put everything into perspective, we gave a DAMN GOOD PARTY!!! And it was worth every moment of planning and slaving over (Don, thank you for not complaining about the tissue paper flower factor we had you working in for slave wages!). And though there are no pictures of Blue Hawaii playing on 8mm, later that night, begging the guy on ebay to get it here in time was totally worth it too!
